Who we are
P&J Prints Barnsley is a printing, embroidery and engraving business based in Barnsley, South Yorkshire. You can reach us at info@pjprints.co.uk or 07940 529 104.
What we collect
Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:
- Contact details — your name, email address and phone number, when you request a quote or get in touch.
- Order and delivery details — billing and delivery addresses, the items ordered, and any personalisation instructions.
- Artwork and files — logos, images and text you send us to print, embroider or engrave.
- Payment information — handled entirely by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card details.
- Technical and usage data — IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected through analytics where you have consented.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To fulfil your order — producing, proofing and delivering what you have bought. Lawful basis: performance of a contract.
- To answer enquiries and provide quotes — responding to you and following up. Lawful basis: legitimate interests, or steps taken at your request before entering a contract.
- To keep accounting and tax records — retaining invoices and order records. Lawful basis: legal obligation.
- To improve the website — understanding how the site is used. Lawful basis: consent, given through the cookie banner.
- To keep your artwork on file for reorders — so a repeat order matches the first. Lawful basis: legitimate interests. Ask us and we will delete it.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the suppliers who help us run the business:
- Stripe — to process card payments securely.
- Delivery partners — to get your order to you.
- Our website host and email provider — to run the site and correspond with you.
- Google Analytics and Jetpack — for website statistics, where you have consented.
- Arrow Development — our web agency, who maintain the site and its marketing tools.
- Meta (WhatsApp) — if you choose to contact us using the WhatsApp button.
We may also disclose information where we are legally required to do so.
How long we keep it
- Order and invoice records — six years, to meet HMRC requirements.
- Enquiries and quotes that do not become orders — up to two years.
- Artwork files — kept while you remain a customer, so reorders match. Deleted on request.
- Analytics data — as set by the relevant provider.
